Job summary

Rackley Roofing Company is seeking a Roofing Superintendent to lead field crews and oversee all roofing operations in the Lebanon, TN area. You will manage crews, control costs, coordinate mobilization and demobilization, and attend preconstruction meetings to align on project scope.

You will inspect sites, ensure compliance with specifications and shop drawings, document daily progress, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Commercial Roofing experience.
• Minimum 1 year Commercial Roofing experience as a Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Business Owners and General Contractors to perform roofing management and oversight.
• Manage all field roofing personnel and oversee all roofing operations.
• Be responsible for company profit related to roofing job costs and control costs.
• Handle mobilization, logistics, and demobilization for projects.
• Attend preconstruction meetings to understand project scope.
• Ensure site mobilization plans are followed by field personnel.
• Walk site to report conditions including grounds, paving, landscaping, and site features.
• Inspect substrates and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and installation methods.
• Provide quality control photos and daily reports; enforce company policies.
• Perform daily reporting: weather, crew size, subs onsite, work area, and progress.
• Monitor safety equipment and housekeeping on site; ensure weather precautions before rain.
