Job summary

Sun Communities seeks a Community Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction within the community. You will be the main contact for residents, providing on-site leadership and 24/7 on-call availability.

The role includes marketing, leasing, and sales of homes, managing budgets and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with fair housing laws. On-site housing is provided, with a focus on safety and community appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred in real estate, hospitality, or business.
• 2 years property management experience with supervision; 6 months sales/leasing experience.
• Experience using NetSuite preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance basics and fair housing laws.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rent collection, invoicing, and delinquency management.
• Manage maintenance, budgeting, and site operations.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and team development.
• Review residency applications and approvals/denials.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and safety policies.
• Handle emergencies and on-site incidents per procedures.
