Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction management.
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site.
• Experience with hot mix asphalt pavement and concrete pavement construction.
• Licensed for engineering in the State of Texas (or ability to get licensed in 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Advise on pavement rehabilitation strategies for hot mix asphalt and concrete and coordinate with owner.
• Supervise on-site quality control personnel and manage personnel performance and administration.
• Provide directions to inspection staff and ensure proper inspection techniques.
• Maintain project records and communicate contract revisions and design discrepancies to field teams.
• Review contractor operations to ensure schedule compliance and identify critical activities.
• Monitor and resolve complaints from residents, businesses, and authorities.
• Hold weekly progress and pre-installation meetings with minutes.
