Job summary

avad3 Event Production is seeking a Senior Event Production Tech to support a wide range of projects from local Northwest Arkansas shows to multi-day productions across the country. You will plan, prep, pack, and operate the technical gear that powers our events, ensuring precise execution and clear communication.

The role requires 3–5+ years in live event production with strong knowledge across audio, video, and lighting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of live event production experience.
• Working knowledge of professional-grade event gear and systems.
• Willingness to travel ~18 events per year.

Responsibilities

• Prep, test, and pack all show-specific gear based on project needs.
• Build and submit tech plans for events, including gear lists and setup notes.
• Execute load-ins, show operation, and strikes as lead technician on-site when needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot gear across audio, video, lighting and staging.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs or replacements proactively.
• Coordinate with production managers to align tech plans with client goals.
• Load/unload trucks and keep gear organized and safe.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of shop and gear prep systems.
