Jobot is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead high-profile commercial construction projects from the front lines in San Francisco. The role demands strong leadership, safety, and on-time delivery on tenant improvements, healthcare, office, and mixed-use builds.

You will oversee field operations, manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Experience managing tenant improvements, renovation, modernization, healthcare, education, office, mixed-use, or ground-up projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site representative for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Lead and manage all field operations from startup through closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and identify risks.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities to keep work on schedule.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and progress.
• Enforce safety requirements and OSHA regulations.
• Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and staging.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation for compliance.
• Facilitate weekly construction meetings and report updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and schedule impacts.
• Maintain accurate project records and progress logs.
• Coordinate inspections and support project closeout.
• Mentor field personnel and develop junior staff.
