RQ Construction LLC in San Diego County is seeking a Construction Site Safety Officer (SSHO) to lead safety on our DoD and commercial projects. This on-site role requires coordinating with the project team to enforce safety plans, EM-385-1-1 compliance, and company safety management systems.

The SSHO will oversee safety on the jobsite, provide guidance to safety personnel, and ensure daily operations meet regulations while supporting high-quality construction and timely delivery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• 5+ years in safety management at the jobsite; DoD exp preferred.
• Documented safety training averaging at least 24 hours annually for 5 years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications within last 5 years.
• Competent person training in Fall Protection, etc., or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and lead all site safety aspects, planning, coordination and execution.
• Ensure EM-385-1-1 compliance and APP adherence with project requirements.
• Monitor daily field operations and support safe, efficient production.
• Provide guidance and oversight to safety personnel for consistent performance.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain high safety standards.
