Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead QC on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC rules. Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction quality control or special inspection experience.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC/NICET level III certification required.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DOT or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
