Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager to ensure projects meet contract and owner requirements while complying with building codes. You will lead the quality program, coordinate with QA teams, and drive testing procedures and inspections on active construction sites.

The role calls for a four-year engineering-related degree and 5+ years of construction experience, including leadership of QC teams on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a 4-year program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Building Science.
• 5+ years construction experience AND 2+ years as QC Manager preferred.
• Experience leading quality control teams on commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project quality program and coordinate with the owner's QA team as needed.
• Prepare, implement and manage the Quality Control Plan.
• Manage the Three Phases of Control.
• Oversee submittal review and approval.
• Establish testing procedures per contract specifications.
• Execute inspections and coordinate third party testing.
• Maintain a deficiency log and control QC documents.
• Schedule QC meetings and coordinate with executive management.
