Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure project work complies with contract documents, owner requirements, and building codes on our Kansas City sites.

You will coordinate with trades, process daily progress reports, and drive the quality program across phases of control while leading inspection and testing activities. This role requires a degree and 5+ years of construction experience, including QA/QC leadership on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Requires undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years construction experience with 2+ years as QC Manager ideal.
• Experience leading QA/QC teams on commercial projects.
• Ability to manage inspectors and coordinate material testing/lab work.
• Strong submittal processing and plan development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project quality program and coordinate with owner QA team.
• Prepare, implement and manage the Quality Control Plan.
• Oversee testing procedures and enforce contract specifications.
• Review and approve submittals and drawings.
• Coordinate third party testing agents and defect logs.
• Schedule quality control meetings and report progress to leadership.
• Maintain quality control documents and records.
• Support staff training and development on QA/QC practices.
