Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent for the Toledo division to lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor on projects in Toledo, OH. You will ensure safety, monitor schedule delivery, maintain quality of work, and manage the budget within your area of responsibility.

This role reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager or Project Executive and requires a bachelor's degree with at least four years of related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Coordinate work among trades to promote coordinated project operations and resolve site issues.
• Manage the overall site safety program and subcontractor safety compliance.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns, including performance input.
• Create schedules, sequence work, and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues and resolutions.
• Manage billing, WIP estimates, payrolls, material invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and drawings.
