Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and coordinate subcontractor work at the Toledo project site. You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget adherence while supervising field staff and trade labor.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, strong reading of contract documents, and proven leadership. You will manage complex scheduling, coordinate multiple trades, and maintain cost controls on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics and staffing of trades.
• Coordinate work among trades for coordinated project operations.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns; provide performance input.
• Create schedules and determine sequencing; implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues.
• Manage the billing process, monthly estimate of work in place, payrolls and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work conforms to approved contract documents.
