Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems to lead, coordinate and supervise trade labor on a Toledo, OH project. You will manage scheduling, safety, quality and budget, and work with engineers and owners to resolve field issues from start to turnover.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in engineering/architecture with 6+ years ME/MEP construction experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. On-site, salaried position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in engineering/architecture; 6+ years MEP construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control; ability to read contract documents.
• Thorough knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) and its use in coordinating MEPS and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and labor staffing.
• Coordinate trades to promote a coordinated project operation and resolve field issues.
• Maintain overall on-site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns.
