Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Lima, OH is seeking an Experienced Superintendent to lead on-site supervision of subcontractors, manage safety, schedule, and quality, and ensure the project stays within budget. This role reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager or Project Executive.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EH&S software;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus four years of related construction experience.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings and schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EH&S applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality within budget.
• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, and staffing levels for the project.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Develop schedules and sequencing of work; implement recovery strategies as needed.
• Communicate with owners/architects on field issues and resolve them.
• Manage billing related to WIP and subcontractor payments.
