Sargent & Lundy seeks a Field Civil/Structural Construction Specialist to oversee civil and structural activities at a U.S. site.

You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across projects in the southeastern region, with per diem for eligible staff. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, applying 10+ years of experience in civil/structural construction, energy/power plant exposure, and strong project-management skills to optimize methods and ensure

Qualifications

• Wealth of experience in civil and structural construction management.
• Preference for energy or power plant sector exposure.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, safety standards, and codes.
• Proficiency with tools for scheduling, budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of civil and structural construction activities per specs and codes.
• Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resources.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Apply engineering expertise to optimize designs and methods.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety regulations on site.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs and contractual requirements.
• Track progress and document key activity in daily reports.
• Support stakeholders and provide creative problem-solving on project challenges.
