Sila Nanotechnologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for the Capital Projects Team at the Moses Lake Facility to drive small site-specific capital projects from inception through commissioning.

You will bridge design engineering and field execution, manage safety and quality, and lead handover to Operations. This on-site role requires 3–6+ years of industrial project experience and a mechanical, chemical, or civil engineering background.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil.
• 3–6+ years of project experience in industrial settings.
• Willing to relocate to Moses Lake, WA for 100% on-site role.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Small Capital Projects: manage scope, budget, schedule, execution and commissioning.
• Site Integration: oversee integration of new process units and utilities into the facility.
• Field Technical Authority: act as on-site technical lead for construction teams and vendors.
• Design Verification: review P&IDs, layouts, and piping isometrics for constructability.
• QA/QC & Compliance: supervise inspections and compliance with codes and permits.
• RFI & Submittal Management: resolve RFIs and review submittals to protect schedules.
• Interdepartmental Liaison: coordinate between Design Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and GC.
• Commissioning & Handover: manage pre-commissioning, punch lists, and handover to operations.
• Change Management: ensure safety and design reviews are completed.
