Sirius Staffing is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a direct-hire, onsite role in Hamilton, Mississippi. Lead major capital projects through all phases from proposal to commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget goals are met while aligning with plant objectives.

Qualifications

• Two years of project-management experience in industrial capital projects.
• Experience leading capital projects from conception through implementation.
• Thorough knowledge of plant operations in a chemical/industrial facility.
• Experience with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Strong planning, organizational, and risk-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement capital-project plans with minimal supervision.
• Manage projects from proposal through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Create specifications, cost estimates, schedules, milestones, and corrective actions.
• Organize projects into stages: scope, schedule, cost, and function.
• Identify and manage safety, quality, cost, and performance risks.
• Prepare capital-project packages for stage-gate approval.
• Oversee design, planning, construction, and commissioning of plant upgrades.
• Coordinate internal and external resources during execution.
• Monitor costs, schedules, milestones, and overall performance.
• Ensure Design Change Approvals are completed for capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor construction for site-safety compliance.
• Provide direction to project-team members as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to achieve facility objectives.
• Demonstrate the organization’s core values consistently.
