Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Okta Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of Okta-based authentication services for a large federal client. You will enable federated identity across multiple domains, integrate cloud and on‑prem apps, and drive secure, automated identity workflows.

The role requires Govt/FedRAMP familiarity, strong scripting, and experience with SAML/OIDC/OAuth2, plus Okta Governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years in identity and access management with at least three years on Okta.
• Experience architecting Okta in federated environments.
• Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, SCIM and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Okta solutions across domains and agencies.
• Design and implement SSO, MFA, and adaptive access policies per federal standards.
• Integrate Okta with cloud and on‑premise apps, including APIs and legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless identity workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Okta performance and security posture.
