Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an experienced Okta Identity Developer (Mid) to support enterprise identity management for a federal client. Primary work is at client site in Washington DC with approved remote/telework locations.

Active clearance or ability to obtain one is required. Role focuses on custom Okta integration development, workflows, and API tooling across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on software development/identity engineering experience.
• Experience developing Okta integrations with SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with Okta REST APIs for user, application, group management, and logs.
• Experience with at least one Okta Hook type (Inline Hook or Event Hook).
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one for government work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain custom Okta integrations using Okta APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Develop custom Okta application integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
• Build and maintain custom Okta Sign-In Widget implementations for branded authentication experiences.
• Develop custom Okta Authentication SDK integrations for embedded authentication flows.
• Design and implement custom Okta application connectors for legacy apps and non-standard sources.
• Develop and maintain integration test suites for all custom Okta integrations.
