Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Senior OGI Field Technician to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission and leak detection at oil and gas facilities. This role requires regional and national travel and offers a compensation range of $75-85k per year.

You will lead field inspections, calibrate equipment, collect emission data, and contribute to safety culture. A relevant engineering technology degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference for natural gas facilities
• Strong computer skills (Excel and MS Office); proficiency with Android OS
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days only)
• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering technology or related field; related hydrocarbon experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate to facilities using maps and GPS
• Perform and document field inspections as a team leader or solo
• Lead safety meetings and foster a strong safety culture
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment
• Use detection and measurement technologies under supervision
• Collect and record emission data
• Prepare field reports as required
