Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Field Technician (travel team) to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission detection and measurements at oil and gas facilities. You will work with industry-leading technologies and travel to sites as required.

The role requires strong Excel (MS Office), Android proficiency, and a valid driver’s license; an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology is preferred. 12-hour shifts and travel are expected, with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference for natural gas processing/transmission facility experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Android OS.
• Willingness to travel and work 12-hour shifts.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate to facilities using maps and GPS.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Use detection and measurement technologies.
• Collect and record emission data.
• Prepare field reports as required.
