Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Senior OGI Field Technician to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission and leak detection across facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry. The role requires regional and national travel and uses advanced detection technologies to measure methane emissions.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas industry experience; LDAR exposure preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Excel and MS Office) and proficiency with Android OS.
• Ability to travel regionally and nationally and to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and navigating to various facilities with maps and GPS
• Perform and document field inspections as a leader of a team and/or independently accurately, safely and efficiently
• Assist in safety meetings and be a leader in the safety culture
• Calibrate and maintain equipment
• Use detection and measurement technologies under supervision of Team Lead
• Collect emission data
• Prepare field reports as required
