Job summary

McKinstry in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Offsite Manufacturing to lead day‑to‑day production coordination across HVAC piping, mechanical equipment, electrical scopes, and controls. This role ensures on‑time, on‑budget delivery of modular assemblies for complex infrastructure programs.

The position requires collaboration with fabrication trades, suppliers, and engineering to optimize schedules, manage documentation, and drive continuous improvement through kaizen and 5S

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 4–6+ years in construction coordination, MEP project engineering, or logistics.
• Familiarity with HVAC, piping, structural steel, electrical, or controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activity within a value stream and track readiness.
• Maintain records in ERP and scheduling systems and generate status reports.
• Facilitate daily standups and coordinate material deliveries with teams.
• Support submittals, vendor info, RFIs and change orders as directed.
