Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Offshore Oil & Gas Estimator in Houston to lead early cost estimating for capital projects. You will develop costs, BoEs, and risk analyses with CPMS standards while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams.

Local candidates in downtown Houston are required to work full-time onsite. The role requires 10+ years of offshore estimating experience and strong collaboration, communication, and mentoring capabilities to guide the team through

Qualifications

• 10+ years of offshore oil & gas estimating experience.
• Early Concept, FEL experience with exploration knowledge and new country entry experience.
• Must be able to work autonomously with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standardized Cost Engineering Data work processes and tools.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, multitask, and operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Project Cost Estimates and Basis of Estimate (BoE) in alignment with CPMS standards.
• Lead development and maintenance of Estimate Plan for early project phases.
• Collaborate with opportunity shaping, execution, engineering, procurement and project management teams to verify estimates.
• Provide accurate cost projections and scenario analyses for decision-making.
• Integrate contingency planning, escalation factors, and risk analysis into estimates.
• Mentor and train team members on cost estimating practices and tools.
• Develop and implement procedures tying estimates to budgets and project teams.
• Coordinate Cost Estimates Assurance Reviews for deliverables.
