Job summary

Worley is seeking a cost estimator to develop Type I-IV CAPEX and OPEX estimates for major projects in the Houston area. The role requires strong knowledge of estimating software, Excel, and project delivery experience.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure accurate, compliant cost projections across FEED and related phases. Ideal candidates bring postgraduate discipline knowledge and leadership experience, with the ability to apply benchmarking and risk analysis to cost data.

Qualifications

• Thorough technical and practical estimating skills and ability to deliver quality work.
• Knowledge of estimating standards and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise cost estimates per approved procedures across Pre-FEED and FEED.
• Develop estimating standards, procedures and systems for tenders and proposals.
• Define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with project requirements.
• Create estimating plan including methodologies and principles.
• Review design scope/quantities for completeness and coordinate estimates.
• Support data collection and integration across scope into cost estimates.
• Identify and solve estimating problems with innovative approaches.
• Benchmark costs against projects using industry norms and vendor data.
• Develop escalation models and support contingency planning.
• Present estimating information to management or customers.
