Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Office Engineer in Los Angeles to support large-scale public and private sector facility projects, from planning through closeout. This role emphasizes project controls, contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, and meticulous documentation.

The ideal candidate will have eight or more years in construction management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and experience with projects valued at $15 million or more.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of professional experience in project or construction management.
• Experience with commercial, public sector, or educational facility construction projects valued at $15 million or more.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered for candidates with high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all administrative and technical functions for construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Serve as a liaison among project managers, contractors, consultants, field staff, and stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of large-scale public and private sector facility improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal standards.
• Review and respond to Requests for Clarification, Change Order Proposals, and Change Directives.
• Prepare cost estimates and support negotiations for contractor change orders.
• Review contractor schedules and monitor progress; verify progress through site visits and field observations.
• Prepare project status and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
