The Community Development Agency is a busy, dynamic work environment seeking a part-time temporary Senior Office Assistant for our front customer service counter. Our service counter supports the customers of Agriculture, Building, Cannabis and Code Compliance, Environmental Health, Planning, and Public Works.
A temporary, part-time employee works on average 20 hours but not more than 29 hours per week, for a maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year. Temporary employees earn sick leave, but are not eligible for other vacation or holiday pay, and are not eligible for medical, dental, or vision benefits, or CalPERS.
Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade, and two years of general clerical or office assistant experience at a level equivalent Nevada County's classification of Office Assistant II.
