Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced OCTG operations leader in Texas to align and optimize multi-site threading, heat treatment, and pipe processing. The role balances hands-on leadership with strategic execution, reporting to executive leadership and guiding site teams.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, establish KPIs, and lead capital and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in OCTG, steel tubular, or pipe manufacturing operations.
• Direct experience with threading, heat treatment, pipe processing, or related OCTG operations.
• Proven ability to drive operational improvement, cost optimization, and performance alignment.
• Experience leading multi-site manufacturing environments and CAPEX projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across OCTG facilities including threading, heat treatment, and yard/logistics.
• Drive alignment and standardization across sites to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop Plant Managers and site leadership teams; strengthen organizational structure.
• Establish and manage KPIs and operating rhythms with accountability across locations.
• Own and improve conversion cost performance (labor, consumables, utilities).
• Identify and execute Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee capital planning and facility investments.
• Improve coordination across production, maintenance, and logistics to boost throughput.
• Partner with executive leadership to align operations with growth strategies.
