Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Operations Leadership—Pipe Mill / Tubular Mfg in Longview, TX. This hands-on, forward-thinking leader will align multi-site operations across threading, heat treatment, and pipe processing, balancing operational discipline with strategic scale-up.

You will develop leadership teams, establish KPIs, drive cost and safety improvements, and partner with executives to align operations with growth plans.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in OCTG/steel tubular manufacturing operations.
• Direct experience with threading, heat treatment, or pipe processing.
• Proven success leading multi-site or complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of API standards (5CT, 5B, 5L) and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvement and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across multiple OCTG facilities (threading, heat treatment, yard/logistics).
• Drive alignment and standardization across sites to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead and develop Plant Managers and site leadership teams; strengthen structure and succession planning.
• Establish and manage KPIs and operating rhythms with accountability across locations.
• Own and improve conversion cost performance (labor, consumables, utilities).
• Identify and execute Lean/Six Sigma and operational excellence initiatives.
• Oversee CAPEX planning and facility investments.
• Improve coordination across production, maintenance, and logistics to boost throughput.
• Partner with executive leadership to align operations with growth objectives.
