DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Department Manager to oversee ocean import operations, ensuring timely, compliant deliveries while leading a team of operators and a department supervisor.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field, 5 years in freight/logistics, and supervisory experience. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and knowledge of ocean freight regulations are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in ocean imports and supervisory roles highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee ocean import operations, including carrier selection, booking and transportation.
Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure seamless service.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and third-party service providers to optimize cargo delivery.
Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws; stay updated on regulatory changes.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
