DIHO Consulting USA is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Manager in the Houston area to oversee ocean export operations and lead the export team. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, efficient handling of international shipments and compliance with applicable requirements.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate with steamship lines and vendors, review export documentation, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive service and profitability.

Formación

• Previous ocean export and international freight-forwarding experience required.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FCL/LCL ocean export operations.
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation and U.S. export requirements.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily ocean export operations and department workflow.
• Lead, train, and support Ocean Export Coordinators and staff.
• Coordinate FCL and LCL export shipments from booking through final destination.
• Work with steamship lines, trucking providers, overseas agents, customers, and vendors.
• Review bookings, routing, rates, Bills of Lading, and export documentation.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays, documentation issues, and operational exceptions.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. export requirements and internal procedures.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships.
• Handle escalated customer and shipment issues.
• Monitor productivity, service levels, and profitability.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, accounting, and other teams.
