UCSF Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist II to provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients across UCSF Medical Center locations. You will perform evaluations, establish therapeutic goals, develop intervention plans, and administer direct patient care.

This role also involves supervising support staff, maintaining records, and participating in education and performance improvement initiatives within an interdisciplinary team.

Formación

• Must be licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
• 12+ months of licensed therapy experience.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate degree or certificate in Occupational Therapy desirable.
• Ability to work across UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and administer tests to determine patient limitations.
• Establish short and long-term therapeutic goals with referring practitioners.
• Develop and implement therapeutic intervention plans and adjust as needed.
• Deliver direct patient care using a range of occupational therapy techniques.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff and students.
• Complete discharge planning and maintain accurate patient care records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Participate in staff inservice education, orientation, and community programs.
• Contribute to departmental quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Represent the department professionally on special projects.
