Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a licensed therapist.
• Proficient English communication, both spoken and written.
• CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, problem solving, and self-initiation abilities.
• Flexibility to work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Preferred: Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for adults and geriatrics.
• Perform evaluations using physical, cognitive, and perceptual tests.
• Establish goals and develop intervention plans.
• Implement therapy plans with OT techniques.
• Maintain patient records and supervise OT aides and students.
• Participate in performance improvement, education, and staff development.
