Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment (preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within an occupational health setting.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations, including OSHA standards and workers’ compensation laws.
• Experience developing and managing health programs and working with interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the occupational medicine clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement occupational health programs, including injury prevention, health promotion, and compliance with occupational health regulations.
• Collaborate with the safety department to identify workplace hazards and develop strategies to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Oversee the management of workers' compensation cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and communication with relevant parties.
• Conduct assessments and surveillance for occupational health risks and implement appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage clinic budget, resources, and inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
