Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a Medical Director of Occupational Medicine to provide administrative and clinical leadership for the OHS Clinic Physicians team. The role includes direct oversight of licensed providers and delivery of outpatient care to Denver Health employees and associated communities.

The position is 0.2 FTE administrative with remaining time in clinical practice. It emphasizes quality initiatives, staff engagement, and collaboration with risk management and multi-departmental

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and Board Eligible/Certified in Occupational Medicine or related field.
• Level II Certification required at hire.
• Leadership and management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of physicians, NPs, residents, fellows and other staff.
• Maintain active occupational medicine practice.
• Engage in clinical quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with service director on operations, productivity and quality.
• Support recruitment of clinical professionals.
• Collaborate with risk management on Workers' Compensation practices.
• Oversee multi-departmental occupational health initiatives with cross-team partners.
