Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of employment.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• National certification as NP or PA and current DEA registration (if applicable).
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in Occupational Medicine or related fields.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational medicine evaluations, including pre-placement, surveillance, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty, and regulatory exams.
• Conduct annual medical surveillance for employees in industrial and nuclear-related environments.
• Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including treatment and return-to-work determinations.
• Assess employees' ability to safely perform essential job functions and provide fitness recommendations.
• Review medical histories, diagnostic studies, and lab results to support occupational health decisions.
• Provide episodic care for minor acute illnesses and injuries at the clinic.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with requirements.
• Collaborate with clinic staff, employers, safety personnel, and consultants to coordinate care.
• Educate employees on occupational health risks and wellness initiatives.
• Participate in medical emergency preparedness activities and provide clinical support when required.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and client-specific standards.
• Assist in development and continuous improvement of protocols and surveillance programs.
