Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Reliability Monitoring Engineer to design, implement, and run the observability stack across our cloud-native platforms. You will own metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting pipelines, collaborating with SRE and software teams to ensure data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in observability roles and deep hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, plus a strong background in distributed systems and modern monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or observability roles.
• Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, and at least one commercial observability platform.
• Strong OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and structured logging knowledge.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate the observability stack end-to-end for cloud platforms.
• Optimize metrics, logs, traces, and alerting for usability and ROI.
• Collaborate with SRE, platform, and software teams to translate telemetry into insights.
• Evaluate open-source vs SaaS approaches and scale observability tooling.
