Job summary
U.S. Bank is seeking a Reliability Observability Engineer 3 to enable reliable, measurable application operations across a broad portfolio of production systems. You will partner with product owners, SRE, and engineering teams to translate journeys into observable reliability objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant observability or reliability engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement Observability across Critical Customer Journeys.
- Design, implement, and govern SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Establish Observability Governance frameworks for dashboards, alerts, and telemetry standards.
- Translate requirements into scalable observability architectures and instrumentation standards.
- Provide senior guidance on distributed tracing, logging, metrics, and alert governance.
