Job summary

GEICO is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to build high-performance, low-maintenance, zero-downtime platforms and applications. You will drive engineering transformation as we evolve from traditional IT to a tech-forward organization, fostering culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.

You will lead technical strategy for the Observability domain, work with Sr Staff and other engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical roadmap execution for Observability Engineering.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to solve complex problems.
• Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of solutions.
