Job summary

Q2 seeks an experienced engineer to own end-to-end observability systems, building and operating the AI-powered platform that detects issues across the organization. You will translate business needs into scalable tooling, collaborate across teams, and drive secure, automated pipelines.

You’ll work hybrid in the US, tackle complex problems, and influence reliability practices with senior leadership. Strong coding in C# or Go and cloud-DevOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 6+ years.
• Advanced proficiency with monitoring frameworks and analytics tools.
• Proficient in at least one language: C# or Go.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps toolchains.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and event-driven automation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into architected, detectable, automatable systems from whiteboard to production.
• Extend and maintain our cloud-hosted AI observability platform and self-hosted models.
• Architect enterprise-scale tooling used across the company for observability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map system integrations (CRM, data endpoints, telemetry, cloud infra).
• Modernize high-risk pathways with secure, self-service tooling and guardrails.
• Own end-to-end delivery including light on-call for built components.
• Lead design and integration of telemetry data across environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop resilient data collection and analytics pipelines and self-service monitoring frameworks.
