Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison specialized in Obesity to cover Durham, NC, and surrounding areas. The role serves as the primary scientific resource to key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, executing medical strategy under MSL leadership and supporting research initiatives.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees and extensive Medical Affairs/MSL experience, with cardiometabolic/obesity expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years in Medical Affairs or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years in Medical Affairs.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Support sponsored research and may serve as study lead.
