Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Obesity) for the Washington, D.C. metro area. In this field-based role, you will serve as the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders, PHDMs and other healthcare providers, executing medical strategy under MSL leadership.

You will engage with investigators, participate in congress activities, support research, and mentor other MSLs while maintaining robust scientific acumen and compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate scientific data.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
• Strong scientific acumen and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker trainings.
