Job summary

Amgen in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for obesity to serve as the primary scientific resource to clinicians and researchers within the U.S. territory.

The role reports to the Obesity MSL Field Director and focuses on advancing clinical knowledge and patient care through scientific exchange. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate data, support sponsored research, and guide medical strategy while maintaining rigorous compliance and ethical

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Masters degree with 6+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to healthcare professionals in a compliant manner.
• Lead and participate on MSL project teams and strategic initiatives.
• Provide field observations and insights to inform Amgen strategies.
