Job summary

NVIDIA in the United States is seeking a Senior Architect (NVLink) to shape next-gen interconnects. You will lead architecture development for chip-to-chip communications, collaborating with research, architects, and product teams to shepherd requirements through the product life cycle.

The role requires 8+ years in architecture/design/verification, MS or PhD, and hands-on ASIC experience. Proficiency in C++ and Verilog, with a self-starter mindset in a small dynamic team.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of architecture/design/verification experience.
• Experience with innovative ASIC design processes and shipped projects.
• Proficient in C++ and Verilog; able to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Research architecture solutions for chip-to-chip communication optimizing perf, area, power, and resiliency.
• Define interfaces and data flows between NVLink blocks and the rest of the chip.
• Architectural modeling, validation, definition and documentation.
• Drive implementation across design, verification, firmware and software teams.
• Collaborate with switch teams to define NVLink fabric architecture.
• Define network configuration and management flows.
