Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills; must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• This is a supervisory position; manage staff and coordinate care as directed.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly residents and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct, administer and record the care given to residents in this facility.
• Communicate with family members regarding resident progress.
• Assist physicians, participate in rounds, and support nursing staff.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements and facility policies.
• Ensure medications and treatments are administered timely and accurately.
• Replace staff as needed and provide nursing services when staffing is tight.
• Coordinate resident care according to care plans and supervise unit staff.
