Qualifications

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with written policies.
• Maintain and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Meet with nursing staff to plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Complete reports and communicate with the Director and Nurse Supervisor.
• Coordinate resident discharge plans and charting as required.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary.
• Oversee medication administration and ensure accuracy.
