Carmel Hills Wellness & Rehabilitation in the Kansas City area is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide supervision of resident care and staff assignments in accordance with policies.

The RN will work under the Director of Nurses or Administrator, ensuring high-quality care, administering medications, and handling admissions/discharges while upholding residents’ rights in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident care and staff assignments per policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents and handle related documentation.
• Conduct nursing obligations and report resident status to DON.
