Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
• Three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership role in healthcare.
• Texas RN licensure required (within 60 days if establishing residency); BLS (or Instructor); Magnet leadership certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs management responsibilities including staff selection, scheduling, supervision, retention, and evaluation.
• Provides development and mentoring of staff; conducts regular department meetings and performance appraisals.
• Leads department process improvements and fosters effective team dynamics across units.
• Ensures high patient safety, quality, and customer satisfaction through performance initiatives.
• Maintains two-way communication with staff and supports organizational goals.
