Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in daily nursing care management and to provide leadership across nursing staff. This supervisory role requires guiding RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff with professionalism and fidelity to patient care standards.

The ADON will mentor staff, help drive quality and safety initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina (unencumbered).
• Current BLS and First Aid Certification.
• Required experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Managerial experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the DON in managing daily nursing care.
• Provide leadership, administrative direction, and supervision of RN, LPN, MHT, and ancillary staff.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for nursing staff.
