Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc.—River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing leadership, develop department goals and policies, and ensure adherence to standards of care.

The candidate should have an accredited nursing degree (BSN preferred) and at least two years of psychiatric experience, with management experience favored. A $10,000 signing bonus is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or BS preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent Psychiatric experience. Recent management/administrative experience preferred.
• Age-Specific Competencies: Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

Responsibilities

• Develop department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and monitor unit functioning; initiate problem solving as needed.
• Serve as DON designee and ensure best practice standards are adhered to.
• Collaborate with House Supervisors and nursing staff to maintain patient care quality.
