Augusta Health is seeking a Principal Clinical Informaticist to guide nursing informatics and digital health initiatives. You will align technology with nursing practice, optimize workflows, and lead AI, AI-enabled documentation, and remote monitoring efforts to improve patient care.

You will collaborate with executive leaders to foster innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor clinical teams across Augusta Health’s network in a dynamic, value-driven environment.

Formación

• Master’s in Nursing required; nursing informatics or information management preferred.
• Active RN license in Virginia or eligibility to work in the United States.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience; 3+ years in nursing informatics leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical informatics leadership across Augusta Health’s clinical care teams, including hospital, ED, and ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with CIO, CMIO, and CNO on digital transformation and technology adoption.
• Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies for the health system.
• Represent nursing informatics in IT governance, project leadership, and strategic planning forums.
• Mentor nurse informaticists and interdisciplinary partners to build a digitally capable workforce.
